A fair, healthy and sustainable supply chain: transforming new consumers' expectations into a competitive asset
On 14 June 2019, the European millers' Convention took place in Paris on the theme "A fair, healthy and environmentally-friendly flour supply chain: transforming new consumers' expectations into a competitive asset for the flour millers".
This year and under the chairmanship of Bernard Valluis, we invited Gerald Bronner, a French social scientist and author, Professor of sociology at Université Paris-Diderot as guest speaker.
Several high-level speakers from the academic world, research & prospective institutes, public institutions, scientists and the food industry also joined us to share their insights on consumer's behaviour & believes and the organisation of chartered sustainable supply chains that shape a new business environment for millers.
The Convention also welcomed a renowned social scientist delivering the results of his work on "acquiring food habits during childhood: what place for bread?".
